Sic Bo is commonly translated as “big and small”. It is tied to Chinese dice traditions and spread through Asian gaming houses. Regional names include Tai Sai, Dai Siu, Hi-Lo and Grand Hazard. The recognisable idea remains predicting the combined result of three dice.
The game gained international visibility through Macau and later Western casino floors. Betting layouts became more standard, although payouts can still vary. Sic Bo remains more specialised than roulette in Europe.
Digital versions made rounds quicker and paytables easier to read. Live studios returned the dealer, dome and camera. Mega Sic Bo adds random multipliers to selected bets without removing the game’s randomness.
